A NOTE!

I’ve been running this lil bakery biz since 2020. Beyond grateful to have grown from my home kitchen to a commercial shared space to now having my own bakery studio — it’s an absolute dream. We grew in so many ways within that time frame, from doing markets to hiring helping hands to doing popups out of this lil studio.

I eventually had a realization that our current kitchen space would not be able to sustain our customer demand and needed output. I then realized I had been working at this 5-6 years without much of a break at all and that my creative spirit and love for this craft had suffered because of that. So I chose to wind things down for a lil bit before taking the next leap forward in this bakery’s growth.

So right now I’m on a bit of a hiatus. If you’ve been around for a while you’ll know that we used to make all kinds of things, from donuts to croissants to custom birthday cakes. I definitely have plans to bring these things back when the time is right and find the right space to grow into.

For now I’m focusing on rest and creative reconnection and am only taking wedding cake orders for now, perhaps with the occasional flash sale. This gives me the opportunity to work a lil less while keeping my skills sharp in the meantime. I adore the repetitive beauty of string work and vintage Wilton style piping, so wedding cakes feel like the best medium to further develop my cake aesthetic.

I’m excited for these eventual next steps and am so grateful for all the support I’ve had over the years, for our city, for our community. Thanks for embracing me so wonderfully.
